Regina L. Faison

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Regina L. Faison founded the Derrick Faison Foundation. She has been a heart disease and education advocate for over 17 years.

As founder and president, Regina drives vision and leads overall development of the Foundation. She oversees strategies for fundraising and outreach campaigns that raise public awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Research, and the importance of cardiac screenings. Regina is a CPR/AED certified instructor and has instructed a number of CPR/AED certification classes in the past. She is also passionate about reaching and 

In her professional career, Regina is owner of Faison Wealth Strategy where she helps people manage the financial seasons of their lives. Regina brings over 27 years of securities industry experience to individual and business clients. Regina’s mission and passion is to support women and families in being prepared for life’s unexpected events and she openly shares her own journey to encourage and empower others in pursuing their purpose and dreams.

Cheryl Foster

VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Cheryl Foster spearheads strategies and solutions for the Derrick Faison Foundation and is an amazing heart safe and empowerment advocate and force. Cheryl also heads up the AED and CPR programs for the heart safe initiative and outreach of the foundation.  Cheryl has been an advocate for over 30 years for athletes and their families and she supports them by educating and empowering them to reach their full potential and dreams both on and off the field.

Cheryl greatly impacts the lives of so many all over the world in the areas of financial literacy, sports, education, one to one mentoring with her much sought-after life coaching skills in which she helps individuals reach their full potential and remove any barriers that are holding them back from reaching their vision and dreams.  Cheryl is also Co-Founder of the Kingdom Awakened Magazine.

​Jordan Faison

​TREASURER, SPORTS RELATIONSHIPS

Jordan Faison is treasurer and long-time volunteer for the Derrick Faison Foundation. He helps set the budget and goals for fundraising and outreach campaigns, and he helps manage relationships with corporate, sports and community sponsors. In addition, Jordan works with Benjamin Yeuvgh, our overseas liaison, bringing the love of basketball to youth all over the world and giving them encouragement on reaching their dreams of playing sports. Along with his brother, Justin Faison they work on social media and outreach ensuring that the mission, purpose and legacy of the Derrick Faison Foundation is shared with their peers and communities to encourage and empower youth and young adults to reach their dreams.

Justin Faison

DIRECTOR AND BOARD MEMBER

Justin Faison for the Derrick Faison Foundation (DFF). Justin assists the DFF team in the planning and execution of fundraising and outreach campaigns. He leads the advocacy venture of the Foundation in social media communities and at college campuses to support in an effort to reach our youth and empower them to accomplish their goals by utilizing their faith.

Justin is a graduate from ASU, Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology. He will soon attend a graduate school (as God leads) to complete his Masters and interest in another degree in Kinesiology/Exercise and Science. He also plans to continue to pursue & accomplish his sports dream. Justin is an outstanding multi-sport athlete, and this foundation has led him to have the discipline he has today and the determination to accomplish ALL of his goals and dreams.

Karen Mendoza

We are so blessed to have Karen join the Derrick Faison Foundation team. Her contribution and excellence in all of her work is superior and we value her so much!. Karen is responsible for the communication and marketing that is sent out and works closely with Regina, Jordan and Justin in carrying out the mission of the Derrick Faison Foundation and the Faison Family of Faith to save and impact lives.

Benjamin Q. Yevugah

BOARD MEMBER

Apostle Benjamin Q. Yevugah, is the International Liaison for the Derrick Faison Foundation, as well as one of our educational recipients. He has spearheaded our efforts in Africa with education and charity works and is currently working on implementing educational plans in helping reduce the numbers of lives lost to heart disease (Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attack) in his country, as the numbers for heart-related deaths in Africa has been increasing at an alarming rate! 

Apostle Benjamin also works with our team in the area of education and sports outreach and mentoring with at risk and underprivileged youth. We are looking to help reduce the numbers of lives lost annually around the world, so we appreciate and are blessed to have Apostle Benjamin on our team to assist us with these efforts.
